CBI books GAIL’s marketing head E S Ranganathan in bribery case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has booked Fuel Authority of India Limited (GAIL)’s Director (Marketing and advertising) E S Ranganathan in a bribery scandal involving the sale of petrochemicals produced by GAIL at a price cut. A CBI statement reported, that the investigative company performed searches at the premises of the accused at Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Panchkula, and Karnal amid other folks. This led to the restoration of approximately Rs eighty four lakh so much which involves restoration of Rs 75 lakh from a Gurgaon-based private particular person.
