Geothermal Engineering mentioned checks experienced found concentrations of lithium greater than 250mg for each litre in waters deep beneath the county – greater than in geothermal waters wherever else in the world.
It already prepared to use the waters to generate electricity and heat neighborhood properties from four prepared electric power crops, and now also intends to set up lithium extraction devices at the crops.
The organization believes it could be able to make 4,000 tonnes of lithium a year by 2026.
