Japan Edges Toward Military Pre-emptive Strike Option

TOKYO—Ruling-get together lawmakers are pushing for Japan’s armed forces to have the skill to strike foreign missile-launch websites to strengthen deterrence against probable attacks from North Korea and China.

A proposal introduced Friday by the Liberal Democratic Party’s defense plan committee is established to be a new exam of Japan’s pacifist structure under Key Minister Shinzo Abe, who has sought to loosen constraints on the armed forces in response to soaring troubles from Beijing and Pyongyang in latest decades.
